Ann Smith has a great PR and marketing company and is updating her web site — ergo, new head shots! We spent a lovely morning wandering around downtown Portland together. We had a blast :)

I was recently asked to capture head shots for Upstart Labs (and their start-ups!) to use on their web site. They’re a bunch of talented, good looking people… Who made my job quiet easy.

Bridget rules. She was updating her company branding and came to me for fresh portraits.

I, of course, jumped at the opportunity: making photos with her is always fun :)

  5. Mississippi Street Fair | Sell Simply Street Team

    By @LisaTeso Stats: View Comments

This weekend was all kinds of Portland Awesome.

The Mississippi Street Fair took place (it’s humongous). I got to be part of the Sell Simply Street Team and tag along for the day, photographing. My photos are featured on their blog, go check ‘em out!

Related: If you create things, make things, collect things, sell things, etc. CHECK OUT Sell Simply. They have turned Twitter into a marketplace. If you think about this *real hard* for about 8 seconds you’ll realize 2 things

      1. Crazy genius.
      2. It allows the audience you market toward to grow exponentially. With one Tweet.

You can find more specifics (lots of cool details) here: http://sellsimp.ly

In the meantime, go check out my photos!

  6. Paleo Plan | Portland Food Photography

I recently had the opportunity to work with Jason Glaspey (of Pie). We spent an afternoon in W+K‘s gorgeous kitchen shooting produce, raw meat, veggies, fruit, nuts, spices… to create a photo library for his website Paleo Plan.

If you aren’t familiar with Paleo, check out this book: The Paleo Solution by Robb Wolf

If you ARE familiar, check out Paleo Plan — it’s an invaluable resource for your lifestyle.

My photos are live on the new website, hooray! I find it so intriguing to see how the images I captured end up being presented… Collaborations are so much fun. I am *dying* to pop into a branch office to view the posters and literature that other images will be featured in. Does this make me a dork? What can I say, I’m proud of this project.

You can check out more of my (and R/west’s) work here: https://www.firsttechfed.com/

  10. Provenance Hotels | Portland Corporate Photography

    By @LisaTeso Stats: View Comments

A local group of talented gentlemen (theGOOD) hired me to capture super-creative head shots / bio portraits of the executive team of Provenance Hotels for their web site.

This was my first time making photos with the purpose of having them animated. It was certainly tricky, but we managed to have a lot of fun with these folks. I’ll try to explain the animation to you, but you should really go here to play with these interactive portraits for yourself.

The web page opens to a “scene” — all of the executive team sitting in the Driftwood Room at Hotel deLuxe. As you mouse over a team member, their name pops up and you can click to view their personal bio. When selected that person walks toward the camera, strikes a couple of poses and their bio pops up as their nail their head shot. You can then click on that person and tell them to “sit down.” They then turn and walk back to their seat.

Awesome, right? Below are a few screen shots showing these actions, but really: go here.
